Assist in performing all tasks necessary to achieve the organization’s mission and help execute staff succession and growth plans.
Train the Finance Unit and other staff on raising awareness and knowledge of financial management matters.
Participate in developing new business, specifically assist the CEO and COO in identifying new funding opportunities, the drafting of prospective programmatic budgets, and determining cost effectiveness of prospective service delivery.
Assess the benefits of all prospective contracts and advise the Executive Team on programmatic design and implementation matters.
Ensure adequate controls are installed and that substantiating documentation is approved and available such that all purchases may pass independent audits.
Provide the CEO/COO with an operating budget.
Work with the CEO/COO to ensure programmatic success through cost analysis.
Oversee Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable and ensure a disaster recovery plan is in place.
Oversee the maintenance of the inventory of all fixed assets, including assets purchased (computers, etc.)

Where will you be working? Siemens Pakistan is pleased to announce an extremely exciting opportunity for an experienced Accounting and Controlling Manager to join our finance team in Karachi. What will I be doing? As an experienced finance professional, you will support the head of accounting in the reporting and analyses for management, AC, and the board. You will coordinate monthly, quarterly and year-end closing activities, including pre-closing meetings with the divisions. Additional Responsibilities Include
Review of Provision for Liquidity Damages, doubtful debts, excess costs, receivables write-offs, Loss order provisions, provision against slow-moving inventories, warranty provisions.
Special Assignments/projects including Record Retention, M&A activities, reviews, etc.
Review of Receivables 'due date' change requests from divisions
About You You will have a Bachelor’s degree in finance/accounting, along with an ACA qualification, with 3 years of experience within a global or multinational environment. An exceptional background with the ability to understand and implement guidelines, coordination, and communication with departments to ensure internal reporting and controlling requirements are fulfilled.
